Statestrong Limited was born out of the remains of Blackpool Aerosols which went into receivership
in 1983. At this time it's turnover was £300,000 per annum. The company has now grown into one of the largest U.K. independent Aerosol Manufacturers. In 1996, and 1998, Statestrong was awarded the prestigious Queens Award for Exports, and is currently exporting to no less than 64 countries.
Professional Touch, Sportstar, Minuet and Flower Shop are now accepted as brands throughout most of Eastern Europe Central Europe and Russia. The company now occupies a 5 acre site in Lytham, Lancashire incorporating a Liquid Filling Plant, which
became fully operational in January 1998.
Statestrong Limited is privately owned, and employs 150 staff locally, with 30 overseas agents acting independently of the parent company. Offices are situated in Warsaw, Bojkovice, Moscow and Lytham.
In September 2000 a new Aerosol Filling Factory was commissioned in the Czech Republic, covering an area of 6 acres, and
employing 50 staff. This is soon to be extended to accommodate 5 Aerosol Lines to fulfil the growing demand for product in
Poland, Romania, Hungary, Bulgaria and the Ukraine.
